What lies beneath

Let's admit it - Most of us fall for the hype surrounding the latest, greatest wrinkle cream promises only to encounter disappointment after handing over our hard-earned money.  I have found a great website which provides unbiased information on which treatments have been found to work versus which are pure hype.  The site is SmartSkinCare.com.  Bottom line, there are some ingredients that do have some effect, but  even the most expensive products out there have such tiny percentages of the active ingredients (note almost none list the % of ingredients).  In addition, unfortunately the active ingredients lose their effectiveness quickly when exposed to air.  Their suggestion is to make your own products in small batches at less than 10% of the cost of the department store brands.  The site offers a "do it yourself skin care pack" for developing your own products so that you can control the potency and know for sure when it's a month or two old.  If you're interested, pick up the Do-It-Yourself guide at Skin Care Information, Research and Reviews. You can also read this New York Times article which says the most proven wrinkle treatment is still prescription Retin-A and Renova.

Now that her children are older and at school full-time, Teresa has been able to expand the business, developing the Eco-Barn, selling organic produce at the farmers market in Enniskillen and supplying fruit to a local ice-cream maker, Tickety-Moo.Minister Gildernew concluded: "Small businesses are the foundations of the rural economy as they drive job growth, mcdst training support local supply chains and utilise niche markets. Women who own their own business take pride in their work, and in many cases, small businesses are known for providing their customers with a personalised and high-quality service. Not only do small businesses help women and their families, they can also help to stabilise a struggling economy.
