Vjournal is a news/blog site dedicated to coaching women in leadership, career and money management in a fun, accessible way.
It turns out that brain imaging technology has shown that there's a difference between male and female brains - so science has finally proved what we've known all along. At Vjournal, we believe that each man and woman has an equal shot at being a great leader - or a crappy one. But the skills needed for greatness, and especially the execution of those skills, can differ by gender. We call this the Relational Executive Assessment Leaderhsip InTent Yield - or R.E.A.L.I.T.Y. for short. With a unique understanding of how men and women are perceived at work, Vjournal's goal is to coach women in the successful application of R.E.A.L.I.T.Y. to drive their careers forward.
We don’t man-bash at Vjournal because for the most part we’ve found that behind many successful women leaders, there are men with really big balls. These are our mentors, our supporters, our partners - those confident, strong, sensational men who see our potential and help us up, rather than shoot us down. We honor you here and hope you'll add to the conversation by actively contributing - In fact, about 30% of our subscribers are men!
(Of course there is still a small minority of men who are threatened by women in leadership positions and consistently undermine and belittle women leaders. For these individuals we recommend a visit to this very important website.)
